We’re in a Pop-Up Shop for Christmas!
I took these two beautiful Gentleman’s Chairs and a selection of my other chairs and furniture items over to Newbury where my good friend Chris Allen of Oneday Woodcraft has taken temporary ownership of a pop-up shop for the run up to Christmas.
Chris has been collaborating with some of his craftsmen/women friends in order to stock the shop with a variety of hand-crafted items such as willow dragonflies and baskets from Christine Brewster, crocheted dreamcatchers, knitted items, and of course his own greenwood products, turned and carved using a variety of woods e.g. wooden bowls, spoons, whisks and whale scoops. Chris will also be giving demonstrations on his pole-lathe. There really is something suitable for everyone from stocking-filler twig pencils to larger Rustic Ash Chairs furniture ranging from newborn/toddler/children’s items to dining chairs and large ‘Uncle Fred’ armchairs.
It’s a brilliant little shop so if you’re looking for a truly unique, hand-crafted gift pop in to the Oneday Woodcraft’s Pop-up Shop in the Kennet Centre, Newbury, RG14 5EN. It’s open every Wednesday-to-Sunday until Christmas Eve so if you’re in the area, do pop in and have a look at the full range.
Please support your local independent traders at Christmas and throughout the year, thank you.
